Upcoming Courses

In the lists below you will find all our upcoming classes for the next few months. In the google calender below the lists, you can find the specific details (time, location, price etc.) for each course. If you find a class that you wish to join, register here with our google form.

Beginner Courses

Our regular swing Beginner classes (recommended for anyone new to swing dancing) are 4-week courses, in which students can start any month! The beginner courses take place in our Eschersheim location, on Fridays at 20.30 – 21.30. You can find more detailed information on our courses page.

Here is a list of the upcoming courses and their start dates:

  • 8-Count Lindy Hop : 11th April
  • 6-Count Lindy Hop : 16th May
  • Lindy-Charleston : 13th June
  • 8-Count Lindy Hop : 11th July

Future courses will be announced in May.

We also offer Beginner courses in our three specialty styles: Balboa, Shag, and Blues. At the moment, we do not have any classes planned in these styles.

Post-Beginner Courses

Our Post-Beginner courses have the same format as Beginner courses, i.e. 4 hours of classes in a course. These courses have pre-requisite content from the Beginner courses, so please check our Courses Page to know which level is right for you. Our Post-Beginner courses take place in our Eschersheim location, on Fridays at 18.00 – 19.00.

Here is a list of the upcoming courses and their starting dates:

  • Lindy-Charleston : 11th April
  • Shag : 10th June
  • Lindyhop (Swingouts) : 16th May

Future classes will be announced in May.

Intermediate Courses

Lindy Hop

Our intermediate Lindy Hop classes are ongoing “drop-in” classes with each class being completely independent material. We offer two timeslots for intermediate lindy hop, which usually contain the same content each week:

  • Thursdays 19.15 – 20.15, in Bornheim
  • Fridays 19.15 – 20.15, in Eschersheim

 

Blues/Balboa/Shag

Balboa Intermediate

  • Starting 29th April, 19.15 – 20.15, in Bornheim

We are currently not offering any intermediate courses in Shag or Blues.

Intermediate-Advanced

Lindy Hop

Our intermediate-advanced Lindy Hop classes are ongoing “drop-in” classes with each class being completely independent material. Our int-adv Lindy Hop classes take place on:

  • Thursdays 20.30 – 21.30, in Bornheim

Balboa/Blues/Shag

We have no int-adv courses available for Blues or Shag at the time, and for anyone with at least 12 hours of Balboa classes, we recommend our “Balboa continueous class” on Tuesdays. All details can be found in the class calendar.

What does it mean when there are limited places? Will I be able to join?

If you are

  • – a student who has already taken a partner dancing course with us previously…

Please sign up! We will always have space for you 😀

If you are:

  • – someone who has not done any partner swing courses with us before…

we only open registrations about 2 weeks before each new month, and if we get lots of new registrations we may put your name on a waiting list. We will confirm whether you have a place or not at least 5 days before the start of the course.

Please note that we often get more applications from followers than leaders. We try to balance numbers in class by accepting roughly equal numbers of leaders and followers. As our classes are designed to follow on directly from each other, once you have taken any of our classes, you will be automatically admitted into any future classes. Students who have never been to any of our courses will only be accepted if we can anticipate a good follower-leader balance, and if we have enough space in the room.
